Earn your stars and stripes as MotoGP™ heads to the incredible capital of culture Austin, TX. The Circuit of the Americas, one of the most spectacular newer additions to the calendar, is one of the best fan experiences of the year!

In 2016, Marc Marquez continued his stunning dominion at the track with another win – a rider and circuit combination that proves a wonder of the MotoGP™ world. The long and technical track is nothing but easy, and those battling their way onto the podium with the eventual Champion were Jorge Lorenzo and Andrea Iannone – to enjoy the now-traditional Texan selfie on the podium. In Moto2™, three big players of the year took the podium with Alex Rins taking his first victory of the year ahead of Sam Lowes and Johann Zarco. Moto3™ saw Romano Fenati emerge as the winner with incredible pace, joined on the rostrum by Jorge Navarro and Brad Binder.

With the incredible city of Austin just a stone’s throw from the Circuit of the Americas, fans can enjoy the best of MotoGP™ and the best of the US of A when the paddock rolls into town – something not to be missed!

About the circuit
The Circuit Of The Americas is the first purpose-built Grand Prix facility in the U.S. near Austin, Texas, with a 5.513km track and a capacity for 120,000 fans. Construction of the impressive 1000-acre facility was completed late in 2012, with MotoGP lining up at the track for the first time in 2013. One of its more distinctive features is near 41m-elevation change with an impressive incline at the end of the home-straight followed by a sharp left. The circuit is one of the most varied on the GP circuit, with a mix of fast straights and tight hairpins, with most sections mirroring at least some part of a famous track around the world. It was designed by well-known German architect and circuit designer Hermann Tilke. The driving direction is counter clockwise and has a total of 20 corners with 9 right turns and 11 left turns.
