By purchasing this ticket, you consent to the Old Settler's Complete Terms and Conditions

Campsites. Camp Ben has space for both tent campers and RVs/trailers. There are no reserved spots — it is first-come, first-served. RVs and trailers will be charged an additional $125 over the cost of camping. The charge includes an electrical permit and one car camping pass. This applies to RVs over 18 feet and trailers with more than one axle. The RV charge includes one Camp Ben Car Parking Permit and one electrical permit.
Camp Ben Car Parking Permit. You can choose to leave your car home and ride with a friend, leave your car in our satellite parking area, or pay a $60 Camp Ben car parking fee. There is no charge to leave cars in the festival’s satellite lot. Transportation to and from the satellite lot will be provided via convenient shuttles with extended hours this year. You will be able to drop your camping gear off first before driving your car to satellite parking (just down the road from the festival).
Platinum Pass. A platinum package offers a unique VIP experience. The all-access pass includes a four-day camping wristband, a campground electrical permit, complimentary meals — dinner on Friday and lunch & dinner Saturday backstage at the Salt Lick Pavilion, free snacks and drinks (beer, wine, soda, juice and water) served during Salt Lick concerts, an exclusive viewing area, a special festival poster and t-shirt, and a chance to meet and mingle backstage.
Where do I park at the Salt Lick? Parking is free at the Salt Lick, but once the lot fills up, there is a $5 charge to park across the street at our overflow parking area. If the overflow parking fills up, you will be directed to the satellite parking (just down FM 1826).

Can I start camping before the festival? If you choose to come early, there will be a $15 per tent and $20 per RV per night fee up until Thursday, April 20th. As in previous years’, this money goes to Camp Ben McCulloch for the use and upkeep of the campground. If you are just setting up camp early, you still owe the fee. Camping is first-come, first-serve. Roping off or reserving spots is highly discouraged. Please do not block off large areas above the fence line that could be used for RV parking.

What happens if it rains? Our show goes on rain or shine. If there’s a possibility the weather conditions are dangerous, some events may be canceled — but this is up to the discretion of Old Settler’s and artist management, and any cancellations may be short-notice. Be prepared for any weather, and bring a raincoat and boots!
Can I get a refund on my ticket? Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds – even for bad weather. Once tickets are purchased, they are non-refundable. So before you buy, be sure.
What can I bring in and what is off limits? You can bring any food or drinks you’d like into the campground. We also have food, coffee, and ice available for purchase there.
You won’t be permitted to bring your own food or drinks (except sealed bottles of water) into the Salt Lick Pavilion grounds. But you won’t go hungry or thirsty. You’ll find a wide variety of food and beverage options inside – including gourmet fare, good wines, and craft beer.
Please bring low-backed chairs or blankets. Sunscreen, sunglasses and hats are good, too. Bring a jacket for the evening – the Hill Country can get chilly at night.
We don’t allow weapons at the festival. So as attached as you may be to your hunting rifle, Bowie knife, or ninja throwing stars, we ask you to leave them at home.
Are pets allowed at the Old Settler's Music Festival or at the Campground? We love animals, but please don’t bring your pets. No pets are allowed.
Are the campgrounds and festival handicap accessible? Our staff is dedicated to making sure the camp and festival grounds are accessible to all. Contact us before the festival if you have specific questions or requirements regarding accessibility.
Can I light a fire at the festival? Yes, but the fire must be contained – in a fire pit, grill, or another safe place. If the weather is dangerously dry, there may be a burn ban.
Can I chop down trees in the campground for firewood? Camp Ben McCulloch asks that you don’t do anything to change the landscape of the campground – including chopping down trees. Please bring your own firewood and other fuel with you.
Are there showers at the campground? There are both heated and unheated showers at the campground. The unheated showers are free; the heated showers are available for a fee.
