King's Day in the Netherlands is huuuuuuuuge. For those that aren't familiar with it, King's Day is a national holiday in the Netherlands and it's intended to celebrate the birth of King Willem-Alexander. Who dat, you ask? Not sure, but I'll bet he was pretty swell.
The imporant thing to understand is that it's traditional to celebrate this holiday by drinking LOADS of Dutch beer. And what better Dutch beer to enjoy on this blessed day than Brouwerij La Trappe, amirite? La Trappe is the only trappist brewery in the Netherlands and though they're not quiiiiiiite Belgian, we give them a pass because their legit. The majority of Belgians speak Dutch too so, there's that.
We'll be pouring La Trappe Blonde, Isid'or and Quad on draft, and serving the Tripel in the bottle, per usual. We'll have silly orange hats, t-shirts, sunglasses, and other swag as well as the ever so delicious stroopwafels. Can't forget the stroopwafels.
