Training for Mental Health Professionals
CEUs for Psychologists, LPC, LMFT, and Social Workers
This training will discuss an integrative approach to working in a culturally responsive manner with Chicanx/Latinx populations, inclusive of acculturation and generational status.
Addressing and responding to issues of identity development, family dynamics, and spirituality in psychotherapy will be outlined.
A Chicanx Affirmative perspective will be an underlying foundation of this training. This is the assumption that centralizing culture and a positive perception of one’s own cultural background can and should be facilitated in psychotherapy with Chicanx/Latinx clients.
$40 standard fee, $ 30 group rate (3 or more from the same organization or practice), $15 student rate.
