GREAT TURNOUT at the last meeting! We are so excited to continue the conversation. :D

Bike Austin's Membership Committee will be comprised of volunteer Bike Austin members who take an active interest in supporting our mission in bicycle education and advocacy in Austin through our “We Grow the Movement” strategic plan.

1. Triple the number of trips by bicycle
2. Increase the types of group rides to attract a wider more diverse ridership
3. Increase the number of women who bicycle
4. Increase to 25 the number of Bicycle-Friendly Businesses in Central Texas
5. Increase the public’s awareness that Bike Austin is the expert resource in bike safety, education, and advocacy
6. Double our membership numbers to 2,000 by 2017

The Membership Committee will support these efforts through various leader roles that engage with the diverse types of riders in Austin, including the “Social Rider,” “Commuter,” and “Recreational Rider,” + 2 «Equity Ride Leaders» as part of our Bicycle Equity Campaign!
