Prepare yourself to get upside down more easily, and stay up longer with less effort! Below are the techniques that have impacted me in noticeable ways, and I want them to do the same for you.
The first 50 minutes will be a strong Vinyasa practice with longer holds to establish an understanding of effort and return in body mechanics, derived from Annie Carpenter's SmartFlow system. Then we will move onto drills for core stabilization and to access relevant muscle groups will follow. An easeful cooldown, straightforward pranayama, and thorough savasana will conclude the workshop.
Participants should have a consistent yoga practice, and be able to hold an engaged plank and downward dog for a sustained period of time without issue.
