Intrigued by honey bees? Interested in starting your own backyard hive? This class will focus on bee biology and behavior and how to get started as a beekeeper, including discussions of city and state regulations, a demonstration of necessary equipment, and information on where you can get your own bees. You will leave this class with a booklet of resources to help you start your very own bee hive. After this classroom section, you will be primed to continue your bee education with a hands-on workshop. There are two dates and locations to choose from for this class.

Cost: $40 per person
