Sherlock is a 14 week old cattle dog mix who was recently diagnosed with Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA), which is an open valve that is basically what puppies in utero need to breath. Most of the time it closes once they are born. His is still open, meaning it is not circulating blood to his lungs. He will need surgery to close up that hole or he most probably won't live past his first birthday. He has been referred to A&M for the surgery and it is scheduled for September 6th.
This is where you come in! All proceeds from the fundraiser goes straight to his surgery fund which is managed by his owner, Kelsi Slatton. The recommended donation is $20 per dog for the pool and $5 or more per plate for the food.
Tracy Patton will be onsite for photographs! All proceeds from the sale of her prints will go to Sherlock's medical fund for his surgery!
If you are unable to attend, but would still like to help, there is a youcaring account set up for donations youcaring.com/kelsislatton-870113
