Café Crème is kicking off their fall concert series with Lost Cat Magnet!
Lost Cat Magnet aka Ricardo Acevedo has been creating electro prog, avant new wave, trance groove music, and noise for nearly 40 years. He was a leading member of West coast and Southwest musical acts Freaks Amor, The Blue Box, Second Culture and Cup throughout the 80’s and 90’s.
Lost Cat Magnet as a solo act has raised its furry head on occasion throughout the years: first performing at the Green House venue on North Loop in 2013, then the original Cheer Up Charlie’s on East 6th, Elysium on Red River, Kenny Dorhams Backyard, and numerous art venues around Austin.
Lost Cat Magnet will be joined by Bob Bechtol on Slide guitar and effects, Emilene Rodley on trumpet, Jakob Marsala on Guitar, and Tortuga Malo providing video art. Come out for a healthy dose of electro jazz, drone blues, and art-groove!
