Thursday, THURsday, THURSDAY
Summer is upon us and so is an epic Tap Takeover with our good friends at 4th Tap Brewing Co-op. If you missed the last Party World Rasslin' event and just can't wait until September 16th for the next one, a few of the wrestlers will be stopping by for a beer or two, so be prepared for things to get a little weird! The 4th Tap crew will also be bringing out some limited release offerings to share with you, including an exclusive one-off called Mate Night Raw, a saison brewed with Yerba Mate and spices!
We'll also be pouring the following:
Paradise Lost — Guava IPA
Solitude sometimes is best society...but at least take this beer with you. We added over 400 pounds of guava puree to an already very hoppy beer, liberally dosed with Bravo, Mosaic, and Cascade. The result is an incredibly refreshing and juicy beer with a clean hoppy finish and long-lingering guava notes.
Long Walk — Grapefruit IPA (Hooked up to a Hop Rocket with something special)
A grapefruit-infused IPA packing one hell of a citrus punch. Classic Columbus/Cascade hops balanced with toasty Munich and Crystal malts provide a base for painstakingly-prepared Ruby Red Texas grapefruit.
Renewal — Sour Wheat
Style: sour wheat
Our crisp wheat beer brewed with tart tamarind fruit creates a pleasing and distinct finish. Renewal appeals to those searching for that subtle balance between sour and refreshing to combat Texas heat. Specifically formulated to meet all your river-floating and porch-drinking need!
Lawgiver — Chocolate Russian Imperial Stout (nitro)
Any time of year is perfect for a big, roasty, chocolate-spiked nitro stout. A traditional malt base full of complex coffee, toffee, and chocolate notes balance out this beer's intrinsic roastiness. Adding to the mix is a glut of rich cacao added during fermentation for maximum effect. This beer is to be enjoyed dispensed with nitrogen in order to accentuate its already creamy mouthfeel and texture.
Mate Night Raw -Yerba Mate Saison
Light and crisp, this end of summer Saison features notes of stone fruits and lemon. An addition of yerba mate adds a complex herbal, almost tobacco like, finish.
