We like to keep it weird here in Austin. Well, what could be weirder than the most common disease no one has ever heard of? Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) is an inherited, peripheral neuropathy which affects 1-in-2500 people, damaging nerves in the arms and legs and causing extreme muscle atrophy, which leads to foot drop, loss of opposable thumbs, numbness, nerve pain, and balance issues. There are currently no treatments and no cure for CMT.
Join us at One-2-One Bar with our friends The Damn Torpedoes (the world’s preeminent tribute to Tom Petty) and their special guest Patricia Vonne, as well as Departure ATX (a terrific Journey tribute), and rock out for a good cause and raise money to find treatments and, ultimately, a cure for CMT!
We'll also have a silent auction with lots of cool items to bid on, including an awesome Danelectro guitar signed by Bob Schneider, Jimmie Vaughan, Marcia Ball, Ray Benson, Rodney Crowell, and many more great Austin musicians!
Thank you in advance for your generosity! Together we can make huge strides to bring this crippling disease to an end.
