What’s the difference between a “service event” and “lifestyle of service”? How can you love your neighbor in the midst of busy days and demanding work? What does it mean to cultivate justice in a homeless world?
Come explore these questions and more at Cultivate + Keep: Bridging the Gap between Work & Worship. This hands-on seminar will invite you into a radical new way of thinking about how to serve our brothers and sisters in need.
“Cultivate + Keep” is hosted by Mobile Loaves’ Community Corps Program. Community Corps is a four-month adventure in life-changing discipleship, hands-on service, and vibrant community among those who have experienced homelessness in Austin, Texas.
Whether you’re a student trying to balance your spiritual life with a full semester, a professional hungry for meaning, or someone ready for “a necessary interruption” to business-as-usual, this seminar is for you.
Throughout the day, you’ll hear from Alan Graham, Mobile Loaves’ founder and CEO; participate in roundtable discussions on faith & work; fellowship with Community First! Village’s formerly homeless neighbors; and choose from two hands-on workshops. Lunch, coffee, and snacks are included. Tickets are free, but spots are limited!
