Join Mexic-Arte Museum as we celebrate the life and work of
Mexican painter, Frida Kahlo!
In conjunction with the annual community altars exhibit, Love to Death and Frida and Diego: A Smile in the Middle of the Way, the Museum will offer hands-on art activities and other family programs to celebrate Frida Kahlo.
Activities will include decorative costuming ideas to help transform you into Frida Kahlo for Mexic-Arte Museum's Viva la Vida Festival and Parade on Saturday, October 28th, 2017.
The Museum will also invite community partners, Monica and Sergio Lejarazu from Jumpolin Piñatas, for a special flower crown demonstration as part of the Museum's Artist in Residence program.
Admission is free.
