You're in for a night of marimbas, beatboxing, a cappella realness, belting female trios, synth digging grooves, wild drums that will fulfill your spirit, covers of classics, and originals that will move your feet and touch your soul.

Join vocal band and internationally known Musae and Austin's very own percussion quartet The Kraken Quaratet this Sunday at Cheer Up Charlies at 7pm — 9pm. We'll make sure to keep you grooving and drinking the whole show. :)

Mel Daneke, Angela Longo, Jessie Litwin, Jo Vinson, and Sam Creighton – together they are Musae; America’s top Female Vocal Band. Since 2011, members of Musae have made television appearances on «NBC’s The Sing-Off», «MTV’s MADE», «ICCA Finals», and «Sing It On». Not to mention, members have worked and featured on the feature length filmes «Pitch Perfect», «Pitch Perfect 2» and «Pitch Perfect 3». Musae has headlined some of the most prominent music festivals both in the U.S. and abroad. Members have also written, engineered and produced chart topping tracks for artists around the globe. The Kraken Quartet is Chris Demetriou, Andrew Dobos, Taylor Eddinger, and Sean Harvey. A massive force of percussion and electronics, The Kraken Quartet is a genre-crossing group known for its highly energetic and engaging performances. Since their formation in 2012, the Austin-based group has been heralded for merging elements of math rock, minimalism, indie, post-rock, electronica, and the avant-garde. The Kraken Quartet has been featured on festivals and broadcasts including South by Southwest, Fast Forward Austin, Audiotree Live, Austin Instrumental Music Festival, WNYC, KUTX, SoundSpace, and more. Their debut full-length album, Separate | Migrate, is available now.
