About Bumpin' Uglies:
For nearly a decade now, Bumpin Uglies have been playing their brand of groove-heavy jams – a curiously fun mix of ska, Reggae and good ole’ punk rock – all while putting strong lyrics at the forefront of the music. It’s a formula that quickly took them from local favorites, playing around Annapolis, to a national stage. With a wildly infectious sound, tattoo-worthy lyrics and an itch to take their music to the masses, the band piled into the van years ago and have rarely seen home since.
— About Audic Empire:
Audic Empire first started out as an idea between Ronnie Bowen and James Tobias in late 2010, the idea and dreams of a Reggae/Rock band started becoming a reality in late 2012 when they began recording their EP in the spare bedroom of their home. Since then they have been turning heads in the Austin music scene with their psychedelic, Reggae/Rock and feel good tunes.
— About Bat City Rhythm:
Lead vocalist Nick Swift grew up playing music with childhood friend and bass player Dakota Colby. After moving to Austin for school, they met Gio Camillone on drums, and Spencer Johnson on lead guitar. After forming the band, they began playing local venues and recorded their debut EP.
About The Hippie House:
The Hippie House all began in a backyard in South Austin. Our belief was that art & music, when used in conjunction, are the most powerful tools that we as humans possess today. When we started, we began hosting weekly/monthly events in the South Austin community that began a cult-like following for years to come. The Hippie House was pulled out from under us by the city of Austin and we were beyond distraught. Our community, fans, fellow brothers & sisters took after us and continued to find ways for us to keep this alive. Almost two years later we have worked with over 20 different venues/galleries/lounges in the greater Austin area, have worked with over 200 different artists from all over the country including painters, crafters, musicians, tinker-ers, thinkers, dreamers, students, educators and do-ers.
The Hippie House serves as a canvas for local artists, musicians, photographers, crafters, students and educators to collaborate in commUNITY. When we create together we create a long-lasting relationship that survives on a symbiotic relationship. Our duty as the House is to spread your art, teachings, learning through a variety of different mediums.
In addition to our unique events, we are also passionate about — Artist Management • Booking • Promotion • Event Planning • Event Logistics • Creative Consulting • Experiential Design • Graphic Design • Photo + Video •
