Weekly Circling at the Tea House!
I dream of a world in which every person hears and trusts their unique calling in each moment and, in surrendering to that calling, plays their part like a perfectly tuned instrument in a symphony of collective intelligence. That’s why I’m offering circling — because it is the best practice I’ve found for cultivating the kind of listening and trust that allows this collective magic to happen.
And it happens through relationship. Circling is a “relational meditation.” It’s about listening to what’s actually happening in you as you sit in relationship with the other people who are participating. But not just listening — it’s also about trusting what you hear enough to express it to them — enough to even stand in the consequences of what happens when you do that. From the tension of being both present and in connection with others, circling exists as a field of deep creative potential, mystery and okay-as-it-is-ness. This field can nurture an unparalleled sense of healing and growth, and in the process can take you to your edge, reveal personal truths you’ve been missing, and break you through into a wild new sense of connection, trust, and utter aliveness.
We’re doing this every Sunday from 1-3pm at the Tea House.
